Innovation Hubs & Places

Innovation hubs are platforms that are specifically tailored to the needs of research, development and entrepreneurial cooperation. These places place special requirements in terms of location design, space availability and user support. In addition to functional requirements, aspects such as placemaking and target group-specific services also play a decisive role. Innovation centers should create space for exchange and creative development by combining technical excellence with social and cultural offerings. One example is the UTR business incubator, which offers both extensive physical resources and a strong network to promote innovative projects.

Target Group Strategy, Enabling Infrastructure and Community Building were used in a targeted manner in The Drivery project and the IPZ Zurich. These ensured the development of a dynamic innovation ecosystem that activates creative and entrepreneurial synergies.
